I shot Georgiana’s portrait in April and her Bald Head Island wedding was a couple of weeks ago. Even though I have major ferry schedule anxiety, BHI is one of my favorite locations for both work and play.

Ines Di Santo & a NYC Bridal

I simply love NYC and I have been able to get up there twice this year. Here are some pics from a recent trip to the city for a couple of bridal shoots. Gotta love gowns by Ines Di Santo. I consider myself lucky to be able to shoot quite a bit of Wilmington NC weddings but it’s also nice to shoot out of town too. A few weeks ago, I shot Liz’s bridal on an old farm near where she grew up…it’s the same place where I shot her engagement photos so I was excited that she wanted to go back there. I shot her Holly Ridge NC wedding a couple of weeks ago so those images are in the blog queue. Here are some images from our time together.

Here is a super fun bridal I shot with Martha who is now Mrs. Tom Shafer (their wedding pics will be up soon). She was definitely relaxed and up for anything. I know a bridal session is going to be fun when the bride starts out by saying “I’m not worried…the dress can be cleaned.”
