The Mixons have been friends of ours for several years now. I shot them in front of Blue Post back when their oldest was a just a toddler. It is so cool to watch their family grow!

Since Amy & Townsend are from out of town, we really did not have the chance to shoot an engagement session. So, Townsend, who is active duty, was able to borrow a vintage military uniform and we took off for the USS North Carolina the day after their wedding. The fine folks at the Battleship Museum let us in after hours and gave us free reign. Of course, we were there with some paranormal researchers from out of town who were spending the night on the ship looking for things that go bump in the night. It was a little unnerving, to be honest. Anyway, the rain broke and we were able to sneak in a fun session before the sun set.
